All
Titleholders are encouraged to attend functions as "Royalty"
from time to time, as schedules permit. We have numerous
activities to
take part in. All Titleholders are free to join
us whenever possible! Titleholders are expected to
return the following year and
help coronate new Titleholders. Additionally, Contestants who do not win
may be asked to appear as Ambassadors.
In
the Kids'
Pageant Portion,
"Littler" Contestants
go onstage and we "crown" them first, so that they
can leave the event after group
photos.
A
chaperone
for Contestants 35 months and under must
remain with child at all
times. including
onstage.
Our concern here
is for your child's safety while they're having fun!
Any
Contestant
in any Adult
or Kids'
Pageant
is
required for our group photos. *We submit group photos to television, press and
major magazines, so everyone
needs to be included!
*You
can get Sponsorships
to help with Entry Fees and win great extra
prizes! Ask us how! You can also win great prizes by

is the Gasparilla Pageant!
Go Big!

will be available. We will have a place for you to keep your
Pageant attire during your participation. *Please
note: Pageant staff is not responsible for the safety of your

*We advise arriving EXACTLY 1 hour before your Pageant start
time to check
in, pick up your Contestant Number, etc. Arrive in Pageant
attire, (in the first outfit you're scheduled to go onstage in) “basically ready”, so that you don’t have to compete
too much for time and space to get ready with the other Contestants.
About
a week before the event, more information will be posted here AND
sent to you via email about exact itinerary and times, etc.
Please check back here for more information!
Should I Go “Natural” Or “Glitz”?
This question pertains mostly to younger Contestants.
The answer is the same as above – Anything goes!
Wear what you like! The
Judges we have assembled come from a variety of Pageant and other
backgrounds. They know that some contestants will be very “glitzy” and
some will be “natural”, and that many will be first-timers.
They will judge each Contestant accordingly - each on their
own merit, based on how that Contestant appears/how they carry
themselves. There is
no one certain “look” the Judges are looking for.
*This is your time to shine and to look how you want to
look!
PLEASE NOTE:
For children, the Sunday Pageant is not allowing fake teeth or obvious fake hair. Choose Saturday's
event if you're really glitzy!
SATURDAY, FEB. 18TH
- We also now have a
High Glitz division, too! Call and ask if you would like
more info!
Photogenic Pictures
Pictures submitted for Photogenic, Portfolio and
Composite competitions will be available to be picked up after the Pageant ends.
We
have also created a page just for the Kids' Pageant...The page has a little additional info for the younger
Pirates! Click
